Carbon Monoxide (CO) is a highly poisonous gas that has no colour, taste or smell.
It is totally invisible to the human senses and can be produced by appliances that burn gas, oil, wood, paraffin, charcoal, coal or other solid fuel.

The only reliable way to detect CO is with an audible Carbon Monoxide alarm.
Normal CO alarms sound at CO levels of 50ppm or above. This particular CO alarm (EI207D) will show when levels are at 10ppm or more. It is particularly suitable for households with young children, the elderly or those with respiratory problems where an advanced warning is essential.
