Carbon Monoxide (CO) is a highly poisonous gas that has no colour, taste or smell. It is totally invisible to the human senses and can be produced by appliances that use gas, oil, wood, coal, or other solid fuel. The only reliable way to detect CO is with an audible Carbon Monoxide alarm. Our electronic audible CO alarm constantly monitors the home, providing early warning of the deadly gas well before danger levels are reached. Operation:
  • The green indicator will flash every minute to indicate that the 9V battery supply is working
  • The horn will sound and the red indicator will flash at different speeds to indicate the presence of various levels of CO gas – slow flash indicating low levels and rapid flash to indicate high levels
  • The horn will beep and the amber indicator flash every minute to indicate a fault
  • The horn will beep and the green indicator flash every minute to indicate that the batteries are depleted
  • On power up the green, red and amber lights each flash once – after 20 seconds, the green light flashes every 4 seconds. At the end of the warm up the red light flashes once
