Solar Tips - Getting the Best out of your solar products
With the right product and a little planning, solar can and does work year round. Naturally what you can expect in terms of performance in the winter, is not going to be what you might get at the height of summer but it can still do a solid job for you.
A poorly positioned panel is often the crucial difference between satisfaction and disappointment when it comes to the performance of your product. Put simply: The fewer obstructions between the sun and your solar panel the better your unit will perform. (See Image below for positioning information.)
How do I set them up?
Everbright ™ Solar Fairy Lights are incredibly quick and easy to install!
Simply press the button to turn them on then remove them from the box, unravel the lights and place them in your desired location, place the solar panel in sunlight. The lights will automatically turn off after the panel has been exposed to light for 90 seconds. There are 2 metres of cable between the lights and the solar panel so you can place the lights in a shaded area so long as the solar panel can reach an area that receives unobstructed daylight.
The solar panel comes with a clip, spike and deck / fence / post mounting options. The spike is ideal if you plan to mount the panel in the ground whereas the clip is more useful if you are thinking placing the lights higher up or alternatively use the deck mount for decking, fence and wall mounting options.
